The principals, Bruce Leffers and Hank Halsted, have nearly a half-century combined in the marine industry. Our brokers have captained some of the most impressive yachts on the water, including the 105' Classic Ketch, WHITEHAWK and the 120' J Boat, SHAMROCK. Our Rhode Island office on Goat Island Marina is surrounded by history. In 1869 the U.S. Naval Torpedo Station and Factory was founded on Goat Island and operated throughout the end of World War II. Many years later, it was developed for a luxury hotel and to facilitate the lifestyle of yachting and the Newport Redevelopment Agency connected the island to downtown Newport.
