My Present
Hi, I’m Daniel J. Wade, Managing Director & Chief Content Officer for Northrop & Johnson, responsible for overseeing the Strategic Partnerships team and Navigator Magazine. I am a 37-year veteran in travel and luxury lifestyle media with expertise in brand positioning, sales development and creative lifestyle partnerships in travel, yachting, private jets and the luxury goods sectors.
Since joining in 2015, I’ve established global partnerships with NetJets, Northern Trust, Airbus CJ, Rolls-Royce, Ulysse Nardin, Louis XIII and other exclusive luxury brands. I also oversee all publishing and advertising activities for Navigator, Northrop & Johnson’s exclusive magazine which is sent to client homes and placed on yachts around the globe.
My Past
I started my career with Delta Airlines Vacations where I held senior sales and management positions. I was on the front lines of digital revolution helping establish Travelocity as one of the leading online travel portals and forever transforming the way people book travel. As Executive Associate Publisher of Travel Agent Magazine from 1995-2000, I was responsible for worldwide sales establishing the publication in the top 10 rankings by Advertising Age.
In 2001, I co-founded Elite Traveler pioneering magazine distribution on private jets targeting wealthy consumers around the globe. As President and Publisher, I built Elite Traveler's multimedia platforms, including Elitetraveler.com and Elite Traveler TV. The group attracted a blue-chip list of marketing partners including BMW, Cartier, Chanel, Four Seasons, Gucci and others.
I was Co-Publisher of TMR where I led the redesign, relaunch and global sales strategy for the industry-leading online travel publication. An expert in sales and marketing to Ultra High Net Worth consumers, I’ve been a speaker at global tourism, real estate development, private aviation and yachting industry conferences.
