Hello, my name is Rolf Smith and I am a Sales Broker with Northrop & Johnson. I’m a seasoned broker with 25+ years of experience selling assets to ultra-high net worth clientele. My experience gives me a unique advantage and a plethora of knowledge to facilitate even more deals, be it preowned vessels or new builds. I strive to provide the highest level of bespoke service to clients, personally tailoring the process to meet their specific needs while also managing expectations. I specialize in the facilitation of both yachts and jets which allows me to cater to every type of client searching for their next luxury asset. My strong listening skills, honesty and integrity have led to a high number of repeat and referral clients.
Being based out of Fort Lauderdale, my primary business is in South Florida but I also see to high-net-worth clientele across the globe. Formulating, growing and maintaining strong relationships is my top priority and I genuinely enjoy helping my clients explore the world of luxury travel. With one foot in the private aviation sector and the other in luxury yachting, I am uniquely qualified to facilitate transactions with individuals by both air and sea.
My Past
At 15, I spent a summer aboard a Swedish training ship, the HMS Falken, where I fell in love with the sea. The following year, I enlisted in the Swedish Merchant Marine and began crewing on cargo ships throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and elsewhere.
I transitioned to selling luxury automobiles and building a network of affluent clientele around the world. I eventually expanded to the skies and became a certified fixed-wing and helicopter pilot. In addition to my marine background, I have 25 years of experience in aviation, brokering deals on jets and helicopters for businesses and high-net-worth individuals around the world. Some of these clients started showing interest in yachts; I facilitated a number of yacht transactions and eventually became a broker. My clients who trust me with their aviation acquisitions also enlist me to take care of their yachting needs.

I look forward to expanding my portfolio and continuing to provide my clients with an honest, transparent and enjoyable transaction process. I love that my business allows me to travel all over the globe and my flexibility ensures I’m available to my clients whenever they may need me.
