My Present
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Talal Cassim, and I joined the yacht sales team of Northrop & Johnson in the Palma office in 2019, where I am proud to provide my clients with professional advice and bring value to every step of the deal.
In order to successfully complete a transaction, I focus on the transaction’s processes rather than on making the sale. I take time to identify the client’s problem space as early as possible, find fair solutions for all parties involved and solve any roadblocks along the way.
I strongly value transparency and efficiency: my recipe to be the best advisor possible.
My Past
Born and raised in Paris, I lived six years in Djibouti, East Africa. This period of my life considerably opened my mind and allowed me to discover and fall in love with the sea. What better place than the reefs and lagoons of the Red Sea for water sports and amazing dives?
Moving back to Paris to join a business school, I completed a master’s degree in business administration with an elective specialization in the luxury industry. After graduating I launched my career in the Parisian luxury sector.
I moved to Mallorca in 2016 to enter the superyacht industry, which seemed to be a natural development of my luxury-related consulting services. I initially worked with a different LYBRA firm to develop my knowledge of yacht market dynamics and its related business ecosystem, and in 2019 I joined Northrop & Johnson as my long-term platform for developing my yacht practice and creating value for my client group.
My Future
Continue to grow my network and constantly develop my knowledge of trends, markets and technologies, always with the aim to bring more value to my client group.
My Outside-office Life
I spend as much time as possible with my toddler daughter Kailani. When I get some time for myself, I like to go on a motorbike ride in the Sierra Tramontana mountain range, or when I get the opportunity, join a regatta.
