Electrifying Classics: Inverted’s Custom 4x4 Builds for the Modern Driver

Each build has the choice of powertrain options which include fully electric, hybrid and modern ICE (petrol or diesel). Inverted’s top-of-the-line electrification package includes a 450 bhp motor and a large battery pack providing a range of around 200 miles / 321 km. With rapid charging and 0-100 km/h times of c. 5 seconds, journeys are not only extremely sustainable, but they are fun and convenient.

The unique, numbered turnkey builds undergo a concours quality restoration as part of the process. This involves several acid dips, followed by full rust removal/repairs, and finally, the body is e-coated and seam welded to ensure the future protection of the vehicle. Alongside the choice of powertrains, there is an almost unlimited number of bespoke options for the interior and exterior of the car. If you can dream it, Inverted will deliver it! Sustainable leather from Bridge of Weir, Apple CarPlay, heated seats and electric air conditioning are just some of the modern amenities that can be specified for a build. The brand wants to ensure that its classics can be used as daily drivers or on any special occasion.

Inverted take an engineering-first approach to each build and prioritises clients’ individual preferences to ensure completely unique vehicles that are suited to each customer. As a result, turnkey builds are usually delivered within 12 months whereas conversions of customer cars are significantly shorter.

Prices for electric conversions start at £85,000 + VAT / $105,000 + VAT and complete turnkey builds from £175,000 + VAT / $217,000 + VAT (includes the donor vehicle). Delivery is available worldwide.
