BLUE MOON 198’ Feadship Yacht Sold
Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 198-foot (60.35m) Feadship superyacht BLUE MOON after only three days on the market. She was sold by Yacht Brokers Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford, acting on behalf of the seller. BLUE MOON is one of the many yachts sold quickly by Northrop & Johnson in recent months.
Launched in 2005 by her renowned Dutch builder, BLUE MOON is in exemplary condition, having been updated, upgraded and refitted throughout her life with her most recent refits taking place in 2018 and 2019. BLUE MOON features interior and exterior design by Donald Starkey.
BLUE MOON has received a variety of accolades and awards since her launch, including “Best full-displacement motor yacht over 56 meters” at the 2006 ShowBoats Awards. She also is a favorite on the charter market, having garnered quite a charter following due to her exemplary features. Some of these include a glass elevator that accesses all deck, a very flexible stateroom layout that accommodates any requirements and an observation lounge with stunning views, to name a few.
Superyacht BLUE MOON is welcoming and comfortable with classic style and exceptional amenities. Throughout her decks she has salons, lounges, bars, dining rooms and an abundance of places for entertaining and socializing. BLUE MOON sleeps up to 12 guests in six stunning staterooms. Her expansive master suite is located on the main deck. In addition to being used as sleeping quarters, this 1,200-square-foot stateroom also features an office, a private gym and a his-and-hers en-suite bathroom. The yacht’s additional five staterooms can be converted into various layouts, including three, four and five configurations. The accommodations deck also is home to the yacht’s second gym.
The deck spaces of BLUE MOON are equally as impressive with sunpads and lounges, alfresco dining options, a Jacuzzi, a large swim platform, a full suite of tenders and toys and more.
