Northrop & Johnson is proud to announce the sale of the 236-foot (72m) award-winning Tankoa superyacht SOLO by Yacht Brokers Michael Payne, Ed Dickinson and Kevin Merrigan, acting on behalf of the seller.
SOLO was launched in 2018 by the famed Italian yacht builder Tankoa to much acclaim. No stranger to the winner’s circle, SOLO received The Game Changer Award at the 2019 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards and Most Efficient Yacht from World Yachts Trophies in 2018. She also was a finalist in the Best Ecological Design and Operation Innovation category, the Best Interior Design Motor Yachts 500GT and Above category and the Best Ecological Design and Operation Innovation category at the 2019 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. Finally, she was nominated at the 2019 World Superyacht awards in the Displacement Motor Yachts Between 500GT and 1,999GT category. As such, SOLO is a much revered and sought-after yacht. She was a favorite on the charter market since her launch in 2018, booking charters before her owner had even stepped aboard. Twelve guests will sleep soundly in six resplendent staterooms aboard superyacht SOLO. The yacht features a private, comfortable master stateroom. Here, guests can wake up to 180-degree views from the king-size bed. This stateroom also is outfitted with a private terrace that features a Jacuzzi and sunbed. Two large VIP staterooms, two double staterooms and two twin staterooms that can be converted if requested, also are available for guests. All staterooms aboard SOLO are extremely well-appointed with luxurious finishings and all feature en-suite bathroom facilities.
The interior of this well-designed superyacht effortlessly flows onto her spacious decks, which offer the best of the alfresco lifestyle. SOLO’s decks feature the most sought-after amenities available aboard luxury yachts, including a large beach club with a lounge, a bar sauna, hammam, shower and fold-out terrace. This is the perfect place to relax after a visit to the wellness center, which is outfitted with a full gym and massage room. A six-meter infinity pool is found on the main deck aft. It is surrounded by lounge space. The bridge deck aft features a Jacuzzi as well as a touch-and-go helipad that converts to a dance floor or open space ideally suited for on-board entertaining. The sunloungers and seating on the sundeck provide the perfect platform for enjoying the views and the rays. SOLO features various alfresco dining tables where guests can enjoy five-star meals and first-class sights.
