Bahamian Breezes Charter Itinerary

There are few better places to begin a Bahamas yacht charter than Nassau, the capital of the island chain. Upon your arrival in The Bahamas, you will be transported to Paradise Island to board your yacht at the Atlantis Hotel and Marina. After embarking, you will enjoy a fresh, tropical lunch prepared by the chef before cruising through the crystal clear waters to the historic town of Spanish Wells on St Georges Cay, Eleuthera.

Day two of your luxury yacht charter will find you navigating the shallow waters of the Devil’s Backbone into Harbour Island. Disembark the yacht to enjoy the streets of Dunmore Town, which the glossy magazines are labeling as the “new St. Bart’s.” Diving enthusiasts will enjoy diving on an unusual underwater train wreck.

The third morning, following breakfast, take a walk along a three-mile sandy beach of Spanish Wells, colored pink by millions of coral fragments and enjoy sunbathing or perhaps a morning of water sports while your crew prepares a spectacular buffet style picnic lunch.

Spend the fourth day of your yacht charter in one of the most attractive, long-established communities in The Bahamas, Governors Harbor. This quaint rustic town is home to pretty, painted houses and a beautiful pink, sandy beach to the east.

Enjoy day five exploring the beautiful beach on the east side of Highbourne Cay walking the island or go bone fishing on the flats. This cay is a favorite place to feed the sharks and stingrays.

On day six, enjoy breakfast on board as the yacht heads for Staniel Cay — home to some of the most spectacular waters in the world. Thunderball Cave is an excellent underwater cavern where rays of sunlight illuminate the fish inside. After lunch on board, leave for Big Major Cay to visit with and feed the swimming pigs.

Relish your time spent on board the morning of day seven as the yacht cruises back to Nassau for disembarkation.
