Superyacht Owner's Home Away from Home, 205 (62.48m) Icon Superyacht Party Girl

For PARTY GIRL’s owners, 2017 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year. They say, “2017 will include the trip of a lifetime [on board PARTY GIRL] taking us through French Polynesia on to Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, and more!”

Although they have only owned the 205-foot (62.48m) Icon superyacht PARTY GIRL for seven months, she’s already shaping up to be one of their favorite yachts. They have owned a host of others throughout their yachting career, “too many to list,” they proclaim; their previous 146-foot Christensen is presently for sale.

Now, as the owners of this version of PARTY GIRL, they find themselves on board about 12 weeks a year. “We love to travel and being in tranquil waters,” they say. “There’s nothing better than a private five-star floating hotel that can change scenery at any given time.” But finding their new home away from home did not come easy, as PARTY GIRL’s owners explain. “After a year-long search, touring more than 20 yachts and considering another custom build, we finally found our new PARTY GIRL. With a modern, high-gloss, elegant interior design, state-of-the-art electronics, lots of water toys, a crew of 18 and the ultimate beach club, we knew this was the yacht to take us around the world.” Chuck and Michele don’t charter other yachts and there really is no need to as they spend quite a lot of time aboard PARTY GIRL. “[A typical day aboard includes] waking up in a two-story master suite with a 180-degree view, followed by breakfast in the beach club and a quick workout in the gym; then we’re off to a private beach set-up with every toy and amenity you can imagine.”

And where do they enjoy these spectacular experiences? Well, in 2017 they’ll enjoy the Pacific Ocean, but aboard PARTY GIRL thus far, the most unique location they’ve visited was Mexico’s Isla Mujeres — “it’s a hidden jewel of an island that takes us back in time,” they say. Some of their other favorite cruising grounds include The Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands that offer “…beautiful blue waters, white sandy beaches, the unique character of the islands and endless island hopping.”

PARTY GIRL clearly is near and dear to their hearts and a favorite option to enjoy while traveling, but her owners have opted to charter PARTY GIRL through Northrop & Johnson because “it’s an experience we like to share, and our crew enjoys it, too.” Some of their favorite aspects of the yacht include her stability and elegance; she’s very stable and is equipped to easily travel around the world, they mention.
