Conceived as a flagship for builder Cantieri di Pisa, BALISTA is replete with Italian style both inside and out. Launched in 2013, the 153’ (46.7m) BALISTA went on to become a finalist at the prestigious 2014 World Superyacht Awards by offering the very best in luxury on the water. Not resting on her laurels, BALISTA completed a comprehensive interior refit in 2019 and, earlier this year, underwent a full paint job and engineering upgrades. She is today in better-than-new condition, ready to welcome guests on board, featured in our collection of luxury yachts available for charter.
Stylish interior
Step inside the open-plan main salon area that shares a space with the formal dining area. Here you will discover the yacht’s subtle yet striking décor with Italian woodwork, stunning marble, rich leather and plush furnishings. The skylounge features inventive Asian-style sliding wooden doors that open to a balcony that lowers from the side of the yacht. There are large white sofas with lavender accent cushions and a well-placed bar.
Exterior
Guests with a love of the alfresco lifestyle will be delighted by BALISTA’s entertaining areas. Set over three decks, BALISTA’s exterior spaces are designed to make the most of the fabulous climate in which BALISTA roams. The sundeck cannot be beaten for its relaxation areas comprising generous sunpads, Jacuzzi, and comfortable u-shaped lounge – the perfect spot to relax and take in the changing scenery while the captain moves BALISTA to a new anchorage. There is also an expansive deck off the main deck lounge for cocktails before dinner, while alfresco dining is at its best just outside the skylounge.
Flexible accommodations
BALISTA offers accommodations for up to 12 guests in six staterooms that provide incredible flexibility to suit the needs of a range of guests. The full-beam, main-deck master stateroom is a haven of tranquility with his-and-hers ensuite bathrooms, a raised bedroom, an office and lounge. Meanwhile, the lower deck VIP stateroom is equally spacious with the added advantage that it can be divided into two well-appointed cabins, each with its own ensuite. There are two further doubles and two twin-bed- ded cabins (with Pullmans), each with a fantastic entertainment system and en-suite bathroom.
Entertainment
Fitted with the latest cutting-edge entertainment systems, BALISTA also has a full complement of incredible water toys. Two tenders make exploring easy and comfortable, while the SeaBobs and WaveRunners provide thrills for those looking for more excitement. There is a waterslide, a range of inflatables for towing, water skis, kneeboards and wakeboards.
