The beauty of e-mobility is characterized by zero-emission and noiseless driving. New e-vehicles are changing the face of modern cities and the way people move from A to B — this not just holds true for Europe but also globally. There are a lot of initiatives and companies contributing towards this shift in mobility, one of those companies is Scrooser. Bringing urban mobility to the next level, Scrooser is a zero-emission vehicle with a minimalistic design.
Scrooser combines innovative technology with an eye-catching aesthetic. The riding fun comes from the extra wide tires, which enable stable riding, but also “surfing” the street. Users can easily explore at low speeds, which is perfect for sightseeing and shopping tours. Moreover, the Scrooser also can be ridden while standing for an excellent overview of the surroundings. This riding experience is supported by the impulse drive that speeds up automatically and holds the speed.
Scrooser has come a long way from its first prototype to the existing product line — the best components were kept and several other elements were developed, such as the compact battery to keep the design promise. The engine is integrated into the back wheel and the battery is located under the footboard; it can easily be accessed and quickly removed for recharging. The whole engineering, design and production process is done in Germany to ensure a high quality and an extremely low-maintenance product — meaning Scrooser is a real made-in-Germany e-Scooter. Scrooser is street legal in the EU, which differentiates it from other e-mobility pioneers.
Scrooser was incorporated in Germany in 2013 and moved its headquarters to Berlin in 2016, the center for e-mobility in Germany. In 2016, the series production started; since then, Scroosers have been sold around the globe since. Scrooser is always pushing forward to improve the riding experience. The Scrooser is available in two-speed versions: 12.5 mph (20 km/h) and 15.5 mph (25 km/h) and in various colors; its bestseller Pearl Black.
