Also overlooking the ocean, six new guest cottages offer a total of 14 new bedrooms with stunning ocean views, bringing the total number of rooms at The Lodge to 57. The full redesign of Sea Island’s Plantation Course caps the enhancements. Davis and his brother, Mark, of Love Golf Design, grew up playing the course and are blending classical architectural features and historical hardscape with new elements, while retaining the original 1929 course’s character and routing.
More than 20 touring professionals live, train, and/or play at Sea Island, long known for its exceptional golf. The new enhancements are propelling Sea Island to being known not only as an amazing family destination but also as the nation’s finest golf destination.
