The 112’ (34.14m) SONG OF THE SEA, one of the most highly specified Swan 112 RS models ever built, is now for sale with Northrop & Johnson. Offered at €4,300,000 with VAT paid, SONG OF THE SEA is represented by Yacht Broker Jaap Havenga.
Built by Nautor’s Swan in Finland and designed by German Frers, SONG OF THE SEA is hull number three in a limited series of five and is widely regarded as one of the most striking and capable Swan yachts afloat. Her composite construction features a single-skin glass/aramid hybrid laminate hull with carbon fiber reinforcement and a GRP sandwich deck. She is powered by a Southern Spars carbon mast and furling boom, delivering high-performance sailing with global cruising capability.
Her raised deck saloon design offers panoramic visibility from the saloon and an expansive center cockpit with twin dining tables and settees—an ideal arrangement for long-range comfort and guest enjoyment. Twin helm stations aft maintain optimal visibility and control while staying connected to the guest area.
The interior was designed by Dick Young. The finish includes selected marbles, fine hardwoods, and custom fabrics throughout. The raised saloon houses a formal dining area, lounge seating, a concealed 42” TV, and a full-service bar with Volga Blue granite. Accommodations for up to ten guests are arranged across four cabins, including a full-beam master aft with a private lounge and integrated media.
SONG OF THE SEA has benefitted from two major refits. Between 2014 and 2016, she underwent a comprehensive technical and cosmetic overhaul, including repainting of hull and superstructure, mast and boom servicing, and upgrades to propulsion controls and navigation electronics. Her most recent 2023/2024 refit in Barcelona included a full rig inspection with all-new rod rigging, complete generator rebuilds (new in 2018), new 5G radar and Starlink installation, and a complete machinery, hydraulic, and systems service. The interior received new LED lighting and headlining, refreshed galley and crew quarters, and new entertainment systems. Teak decks and deck hardware were also fully serviced, with updated running rigging and sail maintenance.
Her build quality, recent upgrades, and world-cruising capabilities make her a compelling option for experienced yachtsmen looking for a go-anywhere yacht with proven pedigree.
