Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the listing of the 84′ (25.65m) Fitzroy Yachts sailing sloop ADESA for sale with Yacht Broker Jaap Havenga. ADESA is offered at €1,600,000 VAT paid.

Built in aluminum by Fitzroy Yachts in New Zealand, ADESA is a custom-designed blue-water cruiser. She features interior design by Dick Young Design and naval architecture by Judel & Vrolijk. She combines good sailing performance with luxurious comfort, offering high topsides and a sheltered pilothouse ideal for long-distance voyages. Designed for an experienced owner, she is easily operated by a crew of three to four.

Very well maintained, ADESA underwent a major refit from 2017 to 2018, which included a full repaint of the hull, superstructure, and spars, new teak decks, rod rigging, and numerous system upgrades. In October 2023, her mast was un-stepped for a full rig check, ensuring she remains in peak condition.

Her sloop rig features a Southern Spars carbon mast and boom, rod rigging, hydraulic furlers for headsails, and an in-boom furling system for the mainsail with a captive winch. With Harken hydraulic deck winches and a hydraulic bow thruster she is easy to operate and to maneuver.

Her interior, finished in natural wood, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The main salon features a starboard seating area with a dining table and lounge chairs to port. A sheltered pilothouse is home to steering, a seating area, and a settee, with opening side windows and a removable aft canvas for adaptable ventilation. The galley, located forward to starboard, has ample workspace, an overhead hatch, and a separate crew entrance.

ADESA accommodates seven guests in three staterooms, including a full-beam master suite aft, a twin cabin with a Pullman berth, and a double cabin with upper and lower beds. Crew quarters allow for up to four members.

On deck, the spacious cockpit includes seating benches, alfresco dining, and dual helm stations. A large aft storage area features an opening transom door and a bathing platform for easy water access.
