Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 147’ (44.7m) Hakvoort BIG EASY, with Yacht Broker Ed Dickinson bringing the buyer. She was last asking $13,900,000.
Built to Lloyd’s Register standards in 2002, and refitted in 2022, BIG EASY boasts a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, complemented by a crisp white finish with a contrasting black boot top and below-waterline areas. Her distinctive clipper bow enhances seakeeping. Powered by twin 970hp Caterpillar engines, she cruises comfortably at 12 knots with a top speed of 14 knots and a transoceanic range of 5,000 nautical miles.
Her interior, designed by Winch Design, features satin-finished wood, neutral fabrics, and pastel blue accents. Expansive picture windows in the main salon create a bright and inviting atmosphere, with C-shaped seating and a gaming table offering a relaxed social setting.
The sundeck features a large raised Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, open-air dining partially shaded by a hardtop, and buffet bars on either side. The bridge deck aft offers a flexible space for tender storage or guest entertainment, while the main deck aft connects to a foredeck seating area via walkaround side decks.
Accommodations for 12 guests include a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck with a private lounge that doubles as a gym and an ensuite. The lower deck features three queen staterooms with ensuites, a convertible twin/king cabin, and a bunk cabin, all designed for versatility and guest comfort.
