Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the successful sale of the 143’ (43.67m) superyacht LEIGHT STAR, with Chad Pordes representing the seller. The yacht was last asking $5,700,000.

Originally built in 1984 by Palatka Shipbuilding, LEIGHT STAR was designed as an explorer yacht, blending classic expedition capabilities with modern comforts. A 2009 refit and lengthening enhanced her onboard experience, ensuring she remains a sophisticated and capable vessel for global cruising.

With six staterooms accommodating up to 12 guests, LEIGHT STAR offers an inviting interior, featuring rich wood finishes, ample natural light, and luxurious amenities. Her main salon’s unique design elements, including red carpet with star accents, cozy furnishings, and a spacious bar, create an elegant atmosphere. The skylounge provides additional gathering space, complete with plush seating, a wet bar, and panoramic views.

Designed for adventure and comfort, LEIGHT STAR is equipped with Naiad hydraulic anti-roll stabilizers and an American bow thruster, ensuring stability in all conditions. A fully functional helipad allows seamless access for guests arriving by air.
