OCEANCO AND VITTERS SHIPYARD LAUNCH PROJECT 85

Working closely throughout the project, both Oceanco and Vitters were able to utilize their respective expertise in order to create this project. Vitters defined the specification, working closely with the owners, their representatives, Master Yachts, and naval architect Tripp Design.

Oceanco’s experience in building 80-meters-plus custom power yachts and Vitters Shipyards expertise in building high-performance, large sailing yachts has culminated in the not only the immense size of P85, but also her exceptional sailing performance. Both companies utilized the strengths and talents of the other’s teams to push the boundaries of what was possible with the P85, in both her size, as well as her systems.

Safety was one of the top-tier concerns when building P85, which offers an array of design components to ensure both guests and crew are not only comfortable, but also safe when enjoying time and working on board. Oceanco and Vitters say P85 is  “as nimble and as easy to handle as a yacht of smaller dimensions, proving that a super sailing yacht can have competitive sailing capabilities with relative ease of handling.” Thanks to thorough engineering and craftsmanship techniques, the P85 is a one-of-a-kind performance sailing yacht.

In addition to her exceptional performance prowess, P85 also offers state-of-the-art technology and ample space on board, providing guests with the epitome of comfort and luxury — a rare find on sailing yachts — thanks to interior designers Dölker + Voges.

P85 offers exceptional volume, not to mention flowing spaces between the interior and exterior of the yacht. The seek, contemporary style of the interior pours beautifully to her outside decks, providing an array of social and entertainments spaces for her owners to enjoy. P85 also offers private living spaces for discreet use.
