TENACIOUS is a custom cold-molded sportfisher with sleek lines and a massive cockpit, perfect for avid anglers. Built in Stuart, Florida, by Dominick LaCombe of Monterey Boats and American Custom Yachts, TENACIOUS features durable laminated wood and Kevlar construction.
Cruising comfortably at 20 knots with a top speed of 25 knots, TENACIOUS is equipped with top-tier fishing electronics, including Furuno Side Scanning Sonar and a new Garmin radar and chart plotter. The yacht also features a custom bait system, a full-fighting chair, and a spacious cockpit. Recent refits included a complete rebuild of the port engine, new injectors for the starboard engine, cooling system service, and a new Garmin Radar Chart plotter and FCI Watermaker installed in 2024.
Inside, TENACIOUS offers four staterooms and three heads. The galley, with custom freezers, modern appliances, and ample counter space, showcases beautifully varnished teak with marlin and sailfish cabinet handles. The cozy salon provides sofa seating, a TV, and plenty of natural light.
Accommodations for eight guests include an owner’s stateroom with a queen bed, en-suite head and shower, and ample storage. Two forward guest staterooms share a head and shower, each with upper and lower bunks and custom mattresses. Another guest stateroom features upper and lower bunks with an en-suite head and shower.
The teak-decked cockpit includes two custom bait tanks, a full-size fighting chair, custom refrigeration, tackle storage and engine room access. The flybridge, with modern electronics, custom helm chairs, a large settee with custom rod storage beneath, and a custom hardtop, offers excellent views. The foredeck features a 1,000-pound davit for tender handling, a large bait tank with custom rod holders, and teak-accented custom bow rails.
