TULIP boasts naval architecture by German Frers and an interior designed by Sinot Yacht Design. Built to an exceptional standard by K&M Yachtbuilders in the Netherlands, TULIP showcases a modern performance hull with a plumb bow and counter stern. Constructed for a highly experienced Dutch owner, she has proven herself as a true world cruiser, easily handled by a small crew thanks to furling headsails, powered winches, a lifting keel and a bow thruster.
TULIP comfortably accommodates up to eight guests in three well-appointed cabins. The forward master cabin offers a double bed and an en-suite bathroom for optimal privacy, along with a spacious in-built closet hidden behind curved doors blending seamlessly into the bulkhead. Two guest cabins forward of the saloon, divided by the corridor and lifting keel box, each have their own en-suite bathroom with heads and separate showers. The starboard guest cabin features a double bed plus a Pullman berth, while the portside cabin has bunk beds that can convert into a double, allowing each cabin to sleep up to three guests. The crew quarters, located aft of the salon, include a galley to starboard, a crew mess with a seating area, and a crew cabin for two with an en-suite head to portside aft, complete with a Miele washer/dryer combo.
The raised deck salon midships features large, tinted windows and overhead centerline sunroof glazing, flooding the space with natural light. The salon boasts comfortable seating areas to port and starboard, a zebrano wood table that adjusts electrically and a small chart table/navigation area forward to starboard. The galley, situated starboard aft a few steps down from the saloon, includes a crew mess on the aft side. It is equipped with a gimballed Siemens 4-burner induction cooker and oven with an extractor fan, two sinks (one with a macerator), and a custom-made fridge and freezer. The interior design by Sinot Yacht Design is finished in dark palisander wood contrasted with light smoked oak, with bulkheads lined in oak and details in dark rosewood.
TULIP’s modern performance hull, designed by German Frers, combines a sleek and timeless aesthetic with functionality. The exterior features a clean, uncluttered deck layout, a spacious cockpit area with seating benches, and a custom-made folding table for alfresco dining. The innovative adjustable seats around the steering wheel, which rotate inward for a flush deck when racing, exemplify the yacht’s advanced design. In 2022/2023, TULIP underwent a comprehensive 10-year refit, including a full exterior paint job, machinery overhaul and numerous upgrades, ensuring she remains in top condition.
