Iconic Oceanco Superyacht ALFA NERO Available for Charter

Northrop & Johnson is proud to announce that the iconic superyacht ALFA NERO is now available for charter. The superyacht will be (re)launched to the global charter market at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show in December and will then cruise the Caribbean and The Bahamas for the winter season, and be available in the Mediterranean for the summer 2025 season. Charters start at $812,500 per week, plus expenses.

Launched in 2007 by the prestigious Dutch shipyard Oceanco, ALFA NERO has forever changed the landscape of superyacht design with her groundbreaking exterior by Nuvolari Lenard and her refined interior by Alberto Pinto. Her legacy is cemented with a collection of awards that recognize her as one of the most innovative and luxurious yachts ever built.

ALFA NERO’s impact on yacht design cannot be overstated. She revolutionized the way yachts are perceived, shifting the focus towards more modern, streamlined aesthetics and influencing countless vessels that followed in her wake. Her low stern, minimal overhangs, and distinctive profile continue to inspire designers and builders worldwide.

One of the most striking aspects of ALFA NERO is her expansive aft deck, home to a revolutionary infinity jet pool that has become one of the yacht’s defining features. Measuring 7×3.5 meters, this stunning pool is bordered by a glass waterfall and can be transformed into a huge entertainment space at the push of a button. This groundbreaking design not only enhances the yacht’s functionality but also exemplifies the seamless blend of form and function that ALFA NERO represents.

Step inside ALFA NERO, and you are immediately enveloped in a world of luxury and artistry. The yacht’s 1,250 square meters of living space are a testament to the design genius of Alberto Pinto, who has masterfully combined classic elegance with modern flair. The main salon and dining area are adorned with Wenge wood panels, offering sophistication, while the grand Pleyel piano, etched with an intricate wave pattern, serves as a striking focal point. Scalloped panels lacquered in white create a mother-of-pearl effect, adding a textured element to the upper deck salon and dining space.

ALFA NERO’s interior is also home to an impressive collection of modern art, with works by celebrated artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miró, Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, and Marc Chagall. These are not merely decorative elements; they are integral to the yacht’s identity.

ALFA NERO offers accommodations for up to 12 guests across six opulent cabins. The master suite, located on the upper deck, is a private sanctuary that occupies the entire forward section. This expansive suite features a super king-size bed, a generous walk-in wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom finished in stunning marble and cherrywood. For those requiring privacy and convenience, the suite also includes a private office with its own bathroom, as well as a secluded deck with a Jacuzzi pool, sunpads, and a dining area.

The remaining guest accommodations include two VIP double cabins, a further double cabin, and two twin cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The lower deck VIP suite offers direct access to the onboard spa, while the main deck VIP features a his-and-her bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. The twin cabins can be converted into double beds, ensuring versatility for any charter party.

The yacht’s top deck features a state-of-the-art gym with 180-degree views. After a workout, guests can unwind in the health and beauty spa located on the lower deck. For alfresco dining and socializing, the main deck aft deck offers one of the largest pool decks available on any yacht. This stunning area features a large central pool flanked by sun loungers, a bar, and ample seating areas.

In 2008 alone, she swept the board at prestigious events, including the World Superyacht Awards, where she won Best Interior Design and Best Exterior Styling in the Motor Yacht category. She also claimed the Best Power Yacht 65m+ award at the International Superyacht Society Awards and was recognized as the Most Innovative Exterior Yacht Design of the Year at the Asia Boating Awards.
