Ben Young MBE Named Northrop & Johnson Commercial Director Europe

Northrop & Johnson, a world-leading global luxury yacht brokerage, is proud to announce the appointment of Ben Young as Commercial Director Europe, effective immediately.

Coming on the heels of the promotion of the former Managing Director Europe, Patrick Coote, to VP of Brand Marketing of MarineMax’s Superyacht Division, Ben is stepping into the role from his position as Founder and Commercial Director of SYM, now Fairport Global. Ben will work under N&J President & CCO Cromwell Littlejohn and will heavily engage in developing the European commercial divisions for Northrop & Johnson.

In his role with Fairport, Ben focused on strengthening and growing Fairport’s EU yacht management team while implementing innovative strategies. As such, Ben is uniquely positioned to take on N&J’s Commercial Director Europe thanks to his exceptional wealth of industry experience and vast network of contacts. He will oversee all commercial divisions in N&J’s European offices, including Monaco, Antibes, Palma, London, Istanbul and beyond. The services provided in these offices include yacht brokerage and purchase, new build, charter retail, charter marketing, yacht management, and crew services.

Ben’s vision includes enhancing client relationships and expanding offerings tailored to the evolving luxury yacht market. His leadership is expected to foster collaboration among teams and leverage synergies across the continent.
