In this week’s NoJo Spotlight, we sit down with Rebecca Stella, Key Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships. Rebecca manages Northrop & Johnson’s alliances with strategic partners. Born and raised in Miami, Rebecca’s had a lifelong passion for the water. She is an advocate for environmental conservation and sustainable practices, especially as it pertains to our oceans and waterways, and regularly attends and leads coastal cleanups.
I met Daniel Wade and the N&J team when I represented a client of mine as a partner during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in 2018. We worked together well, and when it was time to grow the Strategic Partnerships division, Daniel asked if I was interested in joining the team. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!
The company culture at Northrop & Johnson is unlike any I’ve seen in a workplace before. It is truly a fun place to work and a great group of people to work with. That culture and genuinely friendly attitude trickles down from the leadership team and is very much a part of being a “NoJo!” Beyond that, I work for a company where I am respected, where I can grow, and where I have an incredible work/life balance.
Learning about the industries and working with the teams of our various strategic partners including NetJets, Rolls-Royce, Compass, Ulysse Nardin, Louis XIII, and Northern Trust.
I spearheaded and managed the nomination process for the South Florida Business Journal Best Places to Work Awards and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel Top Workplaces Awards, two honors that Northrop & Johnson received/won in 2021!
The Greek Islands – it’s the most beautiful destination I’ve visited and the food from this region is my absolute favorite.
A yacht with great outdoor spaces for lounging and sunbathing.
The sundeck.
Eating and drinking together! Cooking meals at home, barbecues, dining out, happy hours, etc.
I swam and played water polo competitively for all four years of high school.
