Northrop & Johnson is delighted to welcome two new additions to its Fort Lauderdale office.
Claudia Acevedo joins the Northrop & Johnson team as a Charter Specialist with more than a decade of experience in the yachting industry. She has worked for the well-respected brokerage firms of Merle Woods & Associates and International Yachting Collection (IYC). In 2016 she joined the MarineMax team as a Charter Specialist acting as both a retail Charter broker and a Charter Manager. With the recent unification of both companies, Claudia will continue to support MarineMax in her role as a Charter Specialist but also work with Northrop & Johnson in the same capacity. Claudia’s extensive experience and commitment to her clients poise her for success at Northrop & Johnson.
Grant Henderson has joined Northrop & Johnson’s team of international Yacht Brokers. Grant has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the yachting industry. Grant’s love for the water began during his early days on the lakes of Madison, Wisconsin, competitively sailing A and C Scows and lasers as well as waterskiing. After graduation, Grant joined the yachting industry, becoming a first mate and spent 18-months working as yacht crew. In 2004, Grant obtained his broker’s license and has been selling ever since. Grant spent nine years working with Sanlorenzo Americas and yachtBlue and joined Baglietto as the Sales Director for the Americas in 2018. Grant’s many years in sales and dedication to his clients will be an asset as he embarks on his new journey with Northrop & Johnson.
“We are delighted to welcome Claudia and Grant to our team,” says President and COO Daniel Ziriakus. “Both will be great assets to Northrop & Johnson. They are both exceptional brokers who expertly guide their clients through the charter and sales process. We are excited to watch them succeed as part of the Northrop & Johnson team.”
