Northrop & Johnson Welcomes Ugur Sahin as Yacht Broker in Monaco

Northrop & Johnson is pleased to welcome Ugur Sahin to its global team of yachting professionals. As a Yacht Broker, Ugur will be based in N&J’s Monaco office. With nearly two decades of experience across both the marine and automotive sectors, Ugur brings a rare blend of strategic insight and hands-on production knowledge.

Ugur began his career in yachting in 2007 as Sales and Marketing Director for the Turkish distributor of Fairline and Regal Boats. Under his leadership, the business expanded its portfolio to include Prestige Yachts, Jeanneau Motorboats, Numarine, and Azimut—an ambitious leap that cemented his reputation as a results-driven leader. After 15 years in senior management, Ugur transitioned into direct yacht sales, ultimately taking on dual roles as Sales Manager and Project Manager for Numarine. This experience gave him a deep understanding of both client relationships and the boatbuilding process.

Before entering the yachting industry, Ugur held key positions at DaimlerChrysler Group and Volkswagen Group, sharpening his skills in sales strategy and operations. But his heart was always with the sea. Born and raised in Istanbul, Ugur grew up in a family of naval officers, spent his youth windsurfing, and has long viewed boating not just as a career, but as a calling.

As a Yacht Broker at Northrop & Johnson, Ugur offers a boutique, highly personalized experience to buyers and sellers alike. With a degree in Economics, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine passion for the lifestyle, he’s a trusted advisor who thrives on matching the right client with the right yacht.
