Vanessa joined Northrop & Johnson in March 2012 and has been progressing through the ranks ever since. In 2014, she transitioned to marketing & events; now, after three years with the company, Vanessa has been promoted from within to the new role of Global Office & Intelligence Manager. Vanessa boasts a varied resume, which includes marketing, events coordination, operations and IT.
In her new role, Vanessa will be responsible for the Fort Lauderdale, New York, Los Angeles and San Diego offices. She also will manage and maintain Northrop & Johnson’s global market intelligence, Intranet and CRM systems. Vanessa’s strong organizational and research skills, exceptionally professional approach, extensive experience in the yachting industry and remarkably positive attitude will help her thrive in her new position.
Prior to Northrop & Johnson, Vanessa held various senior positions within the yachting industry. After getting married, she relocated from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale, where she worked directly for the president of Palmer Johnson. She later transitioned to the brokerage side of the industry, working for another Fort Lauderdale-based yacht brokerage, coordinating boat shows, managing offices and handling accounting.
“I am beyond excited to take on this new position as Global Office & Intelligence Manager and continue to support the Northrop & Johnson team,” says Vanessa. She will be working closely with all employees of Northrop & Johnson’s 14 worldwide offices, ensuring the company’s advanced market intelligence tools and systems are properly and productively utilized.
