Northrop & Johnson welcomes Yacht Broker Greg Dagge to its international team. Greg’s yachting industry knowledge, exceptional level of experience and extensive contact list in the marine industry will ensure his success as a member of the firm. He is based in Southeast Asia and is a member of the Asia team. Upon joining, he hit the ground running with the sale of a 31m Maiora motor yacht.
There are very few people in the Asia-Pacific boating industry that can match the wide-ranging experience of Greg Dagge. Born in Hong Kong, Greg originally trained as a veterinary surgeon before embarking on his yachting career which spans more than 35 years and has seen him in various roles as a distributor of power and sailing yachts into both Hong Kong and Australia.
Over the past few years, Greg has focused his attention on the large luxury motor yacht sales market as well as superyacht refit and conversion projects, including working with Echo Marine Group of Perth, Australia, builders of the world’s largest aluminum, tri-hull superyacht WHITE RABBIT.
Greg is a trusted man on the ground in APAC and is well known for his vast network of contacts and long-standing relationships worldwide. His ability to source quality vessels both on, and most importantly, off the market for his clients is second to none and has been proven many times.
A keen yachtsman his whole life, he was an accomplished dinghy sailor in his youth, winning the Hong Kong Champion of Champions three times, and has competed in many international regattas including the Sydney to Hobart, SORC, China Sea Race and Admirals Cup.
Northrop & Johnson is excited to have Greg on the team as his clients certainly are in good hands whether contemplating a sale or purchase.
