My Present
Hi! My name is Sharryn Matte. Originally from Australia, I began my yachting career 20 years ago. As a Crew Services Agent, my job is to properly and thoroughly source, vet and place crew on both private and charter vessels. I love the opportunity to find the perfect fit for the crew member I’m working with and the client. My goal is to form strong, trustworthy relationships with crew and clients to offer hands-on services that go beyond their expectations and positively impact their lives.
My Past
I grew up in Australia, surrounded by water and boats all my life. Before coming to the US, I worked in various positions in the tourism and hospitality industry. I landed in Fort Lauderdale to pursue my career in yachting. I spent most of my yachting career as a Chief Stewardess on both private and charter vessels up to 50 meters. The majority of our waters traveled were the East Coast of the US, The Bahamas and Caribbean waters. For the past six years, I have been land-based in Crew Recruitment which has now brought me to N&J.

I would like to help build a strong and successful crew department for N&J here in Fort Lauderdale while continuing to be healthy and happy in my position.

I live a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoy indoor cycling and all water sports.
