My Present
My name is Johan Kritzinger, and I am a Yacht Broker with Northrop & Johnson. With 20+ years of experience in various areas of the yachting industry, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with my clients and providing them with excellent service, consistently exceeding their expectations.
My Past
Originally from South Africa, I broke into the yachting industry in 2000 and have been managing, leading and contributing to successful yacht operations globally ever since. I have held positions at all levels, from deckhand to Bosun, First Mate and eventually Captain. For the last 10 years, I have worked as Captain on a 128’ motor yacht based on the West Coast of the U.S. In an effort to be land-based, I created Apex Yacht Concierge, a service that provides local yacht management for boat owners based in Newport Beach, CA. My next venture was into yacht brokerage to offer prospective clients high-level personal support and service based on my years of practical experience in the industry.
My Future
I aim to continue to be a successful broker and serve my clients with all their yachting needs.
My outside-office life
I am currently based in Newport Beach, CA, with my wife and two children.
