My Present Hello, I’m Mike Finnegan, Sales Broker with Northrop & Johnson. With a background as a yacht captain spanning sixteen years and a strong focus on chartering, I bring unique firsthand experience and industry knowledge to my role as a sales broker. Having maintained a longstanding relationship with N&J for over seventeen years, joining Northrop & Johnson was a natural one.
My Past I grew up on the coast of Maine working and enjoying the coastal waters from a young age. After graduating Maine Maritime Academy with a degree Vessel Operations, I worked on a variety of commercial vessels before diving into the yachting industry headfirst. For the past sixteen years I have captained several yachts in areas ranging from the Caribbean, New England, Mediterranean, and the Pacific Coast from Panama to Alaska. With a strong focus in charter for the majority of my career, my true passion has been exploring amazing location and sharing the experience with wonderful guest.
