My Present
Hi, my name is Sébastien Clavé. I have been a Yacht Broker based in Monaco since 2006. After two years in the motor trade business working for Lamborghini and Ferrari, I decided it was time for a career change. In 2005, I joined the Pershing and Ferretti yacht dealership as a sales broker in Antibes. After only a year with the company, I was in charge of opening the Monaco branch. I worked as a manager and sales broker until 2018 when I moved to Northrop & Johnson at the Monaco office. I am passionate about yachting, sports cars, and cinema and I love my country, Monaco. I like to help the new generation join the yachting industry, which is why I was a board member of the Young Professionals in Yachting Monaco association until I hit 40. I also took some yachting courses at the International University of Monaco (IUM). My passion for yachting and Lamborghini cars led me to be a member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, Automobile Club de Monaco and create the Lamborghini Club Monaco.

My Past
I grew up in France, living in Normandy until my 21st birthday when I decided to pursue my master’s degree part-time at school while also working part-time at the Lamborghini dealership in Monaco. After I passed my exams, I found a job as a salesman at the Ferrari dealership in Cannes. In 2005, I moved from the car industry to the yachting industry, and I found a job as a sales broker for the Ferretti and Pershing dealer in Antibes. I opened their Monaco office in 2006. I managed the office and worked as a sales broker until July 2018, when I joined the NoJo team in Monaco.

My Future
My goal is to be a successful Yacht Broker with clients who trust me and work with me to purchase all their yachts. I want to follow my client’s journey to buy bigger yachts — something only a trusting relationship can do. I want my business to grow simultaneously as Northrop & Johnson. I like to close several deals per year with my clients; they trust me and are sure that I work with their best interests in mind. After 18 years of working in the yachting industry, I'm happy to say that I have sold several yachts to the same clients, and I have a few clients who want to deal only with me. This is my main target!

My Motto
I like to be free in my work and my life. My personal and business lives are linked, and I do not like days to be always the same. That is the reason why being a yacht broker makes every day different!

My Outside-office Life
I like spending time with my wife, family and friends. I also love driving (fast when allowed!) and discovering the world. I enjoy watching a nice movie in the evenings.
