My Present
Greetings! I'm Simon Chung, a Yacht Broker for Asia at Northrop & Johnson. In my role as a Yacht Broker, my primary focus is on the listing and sales of both brokerage and new boats within the dynamic Asian market.
Our office is located in Tainan, Taiwan, a city renowned not only for its rich cultural history but also for its stunning coastline and numerous offshore islands. As a Yacht Broker, I am passionate about helping clients find their dream yachts and, through our professional services, assisting them in creating unforgettable moments. I strive to ensure that every voyage becomes a cherished memory.
My Past
My love for the sea began when I first learned to ride a Jet Ski. The sense of freedom that came from speeding across the water fascinated me. Not long after, I started learning to helm yachts, which deepened my appreciation for the vastness and serenity of the ocean. I experienced the endless possibilities that the sea offers, and this ignited my passion for the yachting industry.
Through a fortunate opportunity, I joined Nextwave Yachting and became the General Manager of the Taiwan office. Leading a dynamic team, we are committed to developing Taiwan’s rapidly growing yachting market. Thanks to our efforts, more and more clients are discovering the unique beauty of exploring Taiwan’s seas.
My Future
I will continue to focus on building long-lasting and deep relationships with clients, ensuring that each one finds the yacht that perfectly suits their needs, while enjoying unparalleled experiences at sea. I believe that behind every yacht is a story that belongs to the owner, and my role is to help these stories set sail and embark on new adventures.
My Outside-office Life
I love connecting with people from different walks of life and listening to their stories. Not only does this help me learn new things, but it has also allowed me to form many close friendships. In this ever-changing and challenging industry, these friendships have become a valuable support system. During my free time, I enjoy exploring Taiwan’s natural beauty—whether on the sea or land—as it’s a source of relaxation and inspiration.
