Built in 1998 by the powerhouse Benetti shipyard, the 163-foot (49.95m) AKIRA ONE is good as new following a full 2020 refit and refurbishment. Meticulous attention has been paid both inside and out to heighten AKIRA ONE’s already luxurious credentials with every modern amenity.
ITALIAN DESIGN
One thing that hasn’t changed are the signature, sleek lines of Stefano Natucci’s impressive exterior, while her classic interiors of warm woods, rich cream and beige are the work of Zuretti & Luxury Projects. The main salon has dining for 12, a beautiful marble bar and an inviting seating area for more formal occasions. But where AKIRA ONE really shines is in her functional layout which makes the most of her generous deck space and opportunities for light and airy outdoor living. There are dining and lounging opportunities on all decks, however, the sundeck is the favored spot for entertaining, soaking up the rays and taking a cooling dip in the Jacuzzi.
LUXURIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS
The impressive attention to detail continues in the six staterooms which accommodate up to 12 guests in luxurious comfort. The full-beam master stateroom can be found on the main deck with its Jacuzzi hot tub and private study. Two further VIP staterooms, also with their own Jacuzzi hot tubs can be found on the lower deck along with two twin cabins. There is a double stateroom on the upper deck also with its own luxurious marble-clad en-suite.
ENTERTAINMENT
Previously known as Yolo, AKIRA ONE is definitely wired for sound, and everything else. Her 2020 refit included the addition of state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment throughout. All cabins and salons are equipped with Satellite, AppleTV, and Bluesound sources. The whole yacht is Airplay2 and Cast-Miracst ready. The main deck salon and the upper deck salon have 4K edge technology 75-inch and 65-inch televisions and hi-end sound with a Bowers & Wilkins sound system. All outside decks have Bluesound audio systems with Bowers & Wilkins speakers. A PS4 PRO with the latest games is installed in the upper deck salon. All control systems boast Crestron cutting-edge technology with iPad remotes in all cabins and salons. There is even a new karaoke system allowing guests to unleash their inner pop star while a new projector on the upper deck allows for films under the stars.
On the water, AKIRA ONE has an impressive array of toys including revolutionary water bikes with pontoon-style outriggers, Jet Skis, SeaBobs, a flyboard, pedalboards, waterslide and inflatables. Her eye-catching Castoldi Jet tender allows guests to explore the stunning coastlines and hidden gems of AKIRA ONE’s cruising grounds.
PERFORMANCE
Based year-round in the Mediterranean, AKIRA ONE comfortably cruises at 14 knots with a top speed of 18 knots courtesy of her twin 2,262hp MTU 12V 396TE94 diesel engines.
