Built by the renowned Dutch shipyard in 1987, GENESIA, previously named AUDACIA, underwent a complete refit in 2011 and further upgrades and enhancements in 2022, leaving her in pristine, charter-ready condition. Her elegant exterior lines, timeless appeal, courtesy of her Frits De Voogt design, naval architecture, and luxurious amenities continue to make GENESIA a firm charter favorite.
Traditional interiors
Joanne De Guardiola’s interior design features warm wood paneling and a nautical palette of navy and cream to create a beautifully traditional ambiance with a contemporary sensibility. The main salon is comfortable and inviting, with a formal dining area that can be separated from the lounge by sliding doors. There are deep-cushioned sofas in a conversational arrangement and a small glass-topped table close to the aft door for card games or more intimate dining. The upper deck skylounge is an excellent after-dinner hang-out spot with three large, circular seats in navy leather and a handsome sit-up bar. A wide-screen TV and impressive entertainment system make this the go-to place for onboard movie nights or dance parties.
Spacious decks
Decks on GENESIA are just as impressive. There’s incredible space on the main aft deck for stretching out on a sun lounger with a drink from the bar or enjoying a coffee and pastries while planning the day. The upper deck offers fabulous al fresco dining with two teak tables seating GENESIA’s full complement of guests. During the day, the large Jacuzzi will be a focal point with expansive sun pads for drying off or midnight star gazing after a relaxing dip.
Crowning it all, the sundeck lives up to its name with an array of sun loungers, a fresco dining table and a sit-up bar seating six with amazing views of the passing vistas. There is also a gym with the latest equipment for fitness-minded guests.
Entertainment
A full toy box ensures guests are never at a loss for something exciting to do, whether darting around the water on one of the SeaDoo Wave Runners or testing their water skiing and wakeboarding skills. There are also paddleboards, kayaks and a three-person windsurfer. SeaBobs and snorkeling gear unlock the underwater wonders of the Mediterranean. With two tenders, there are plenty of options for exploring ashore or making the most of the towable toys.
Relaxing retreats
At the end of a busy day, taking in all of this region's attractions, GENESIA provides six relaxing retreats for her 12 guests. The main deck master suite is particularly opulent, with an indulgent king-size bed and his and hers en-suite bathrooms—one with a full bathtub. Expansive windows allow plenty of natural light and afford great views. The full-beam VIP stateroom is on the lower deck and boasts a king-size bed, comfy seating area and a generous en-suite bathroom with a full bath and two sinks. There are two double staterooms and two twin cabins—one with historical scenes of Venice painted on the walls.
