The 252.7-foot (77m) superyacht LA DATCHA is an exciting explorer yacht from Damen Yachting. Launched in 2020, this commanding steel-hulled displacement yacht represents the very latest in design, engineering, luxury and performance. The yacht is a collaboration of talents. Naval architecture came from Azure Naval Architects who worked closely with Damen Yachting. Interior design was the work of Vasiliy Shprits. This is a vessel with a truly unique profile, built for adventure and able to explore remote corners of the world in ultimate style.
Linking all four of LA DATCHA’s impressive decks is a glass elevator allowing her 12 guests to access public areas and their private accommodation with ease. The latter comprises two master staterooms and four convertible staterooms across the main and upper decks. The style throughout the interior is a combination of comfort and cutting-edge, with plenty of daylight. Up to 20 experienced crewmembers are on hand at all times. Extra specialist staff can be organized for specific activities ashore, including helicopter pilots and expedition guides.
LA DATCHA’s lower deck aft area makes space for a dive store and decompression area, a toy store, a gymnasium, massage room and spa. Ultimate indulgence afloat enables guests to enjoy a Turkish Hammam, indoor Jacuzzi and ice fountain.
Those wanting to charter in more unusual destinations but still with superyacht levels of style will find LA DATCHA can offer them the best of all worlds. Her charter areas in the winter months include Madagascar, Mauritius, the Maldives, the Seychelles and Antarctica. Summer charters turn to Russia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The yacht has endless attractions. These include a three-person submersible, helicopters specialized for the destinations in which she charters, three tenders and two RIBS. Guests can also stay endlessly active with snow scooters, fat-wheeled bicycles, SeaBobs, kayaks, WaveRunners and dive equipment.
