In 2012, Turquoise launched the 238.2-foot (72.6m) QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Previously named Vicky, she was designed for 12 guests to have the ultimate charter experience. She succeeded, going on to become a highly desirable charter yacht. Her prime haunt is the Caribbean during the winter, where she introduces guests to the very best attractions of the British and US Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, the Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands. As well as regular charters, she is also available for event charters.
Powered by twin 2,447hp Caterpillar 3,516B engines, QUANTUM OF SOLACE has a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots. Her range is 4,750 nautical miles when cruising.
The master stateroom takes pride of place on the bridge deck. Spanning the full beam of the yacht, it’s a generous space with his-and-hers bathrooms and dressing rooms. It also has balconies to both starboard and port so that guests can take in all the views in every destination. The remainder of the accommodation can be found on the main deck. It comprises two VIP suites, two double cabins and a twin cabin. There is also an extra staff cabin available.
As well as two tenders to escort guests ashore whenever they desire, QUANTUM OF SOLACE has an excellent selection of watersports equipment and toys. These include SeaBobs, a hoverboard and flyboard, jet surfs and a variety of skis and boards. She even has a water trampoline for the truly active. Other highlights on board this impressive mega yacht include a sundeck disco with lights, DJ equipment and smoke machines, and a Jacuzzi pool. Guests can also indulge in true relaxation thanks to the on-board spa area. This features a steam room and massage room, gym and Jacuzzi. The yacht also has a water-level beach club so guests can make the very most of the ocean during their cruise.
