Fun, eye-catching, innovative, inviting and charismatic. These are just a few sentiments guests share during their charter aboard the 203' 5" (62m) CRN superyacht RIO. She is an award-winning superyacht, taking home top honors in the Best Naval Architecture and Displacement Motor Yacht categories at the 2023 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. RIO cruises the stunning islands of The Bahamas and the Caribbean during the winter season.
This exceptional family-friendly yacht welcomes up to 12 guests for an on-water holiday to remember. The yacht is playful and bold, featuring bright colors to evoke happiness and joy while paying homage to the children's movie of the same name with tropical, vibrant designs throughout. White slatted, layered, textured backlit walls by Pulina Exclusive Interiors add stark contrast, ensuring a unique ambiance and visual appeal. Rich American walnut floors in the main salon and skylounge evoke a sense of warmth and welcome. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the yacht provide generous natural lighting and impressive views of cruising locations.
The yacht's main salon features an Azul Macaubas stone bar to port with three blue leather bar stools, two armchairs, and a coffee table. It is the perfect place to relax before enjoying a meal at the amidships' round dining table. This expandable table will seat all guests. Forward is a lounge with a sofa, ottomans, armchairs and a large TV. A small gym was added to the yacht's main deck in 2024, allowing guests to keep fit at sea.
The skylounge is considered the heart of the yacht, acting as a dedicated family room. It features a large, comfortable couch, games, and toys. Wooden floors and colorful carpets add to its appeal. Bookshelves offer separation in this space, creating a lounge area aft where adults can relax while the children play forward.
Seven impressive staterooms aboard RIO are luxurious and welcoming. The yacht's original owners built her to accommodate three primary guests at a time. As such, RIO is outfitted with an owner's cabin on her upper deck, a VIP on her main deck, and a lower deck VIP, all with comparable accommodations.
The first thing you are greeted with as you ascend to the upper deck is a hand-painted mural of a tropical scene with a toucan and leopard in the foyer. Entering the master suite on this deck, you will find a walk-through closet leading to an ensuite bath. Adjacent to the closet is a small lounge area with a love seat and desk/vanity. Wraparound windows offer stunning views. This stateroom is outfitted with a king-size bed and doors that lead to the foredeck, which can be utilized as a private terrace.
Upon entering, the main deck VIP stateroom is located forward and features a large walk-in closet. Also outfitted with a king-size bed, large wall-mounted TV, desk to port and lounge with two armchairs and coffee table to starboard, this stateroom is equally as impressive.
The lower-deck VIP offers guests a queen-size bed and a walk-through closet that leads to a large ensuite bath with double sinks, a large bathtub, and a private toilet. The additional staterooms on this deck include two doubles with queen-size beds, a twin with two single beds and a Pullman, ideally suited for children, and a bunk with one single bed and a pullman. This stateroom is perfect for security or a nanny. All staterooms aboard RIO feature ensuite baths.
The first thing you'll be drawn to when arriving in port for a charter aboard RIO are her exterior's striking, clean lines. She features a masculine yet elegant axe bow that gives her a sporty aesthetic. This iconic yacht was custom-built with exterior styling by Omega Architects.
Starting at the water's edge, RIO has a stunning beach club/swim platform accessed through a door and staircase from the main salon. A glass hatch door opens to the swim platform that can be outfitted with a massage table, steam shower and hammam, making it a wellness space. From this space, walk up her dual staircases on each side and take guests to the main deck, which has a couch aft, armchairs on either side and a coffee table. Under the coffee table is a skylight for the beach club. The next deck up is the skylounge aft that features a large round table where guests enjoy alfresco dining for 12. It also features a lounge space with comfortable couches and a service bar with very rare Connemara marble to port, allowing for excellent service during mealtime. The yacht's sundeck features a large, raised, deep Jacuzzi. It is the ideal space for lounging in the sun and enjoying daytime cocktails thanks to sunbeds, a second Connemara marble bar with barstools, two large couches to port, and lots of privacy. This space also has a dayhead located inside behind the bridge.
The yacht's foredeck is a standout feature. Spanning almost a third of the yacht's LOA, it features a recessed small jacuzzi with sunloungers and comfortable lounge furniture. It is accessed via the primary cabin as well as from the side of the yacht.
Green-minded guests will also appreciate RIO's IMO Tier III-certification1, which assures drastic reductions of 70 percent of harmful emissions.
This sporty, elegant yacht is ideally suited for multi-generational family charters in The Bahamas and the Caribbean. RIO and her expert, five-star crew will show you the time of your life, ensuring a charter aboard is genuinely the holiday of a lifetime.
