Built as a top-class tri-deck vessel capable of navigating any ocean, SEALION is a 1,056-gross-ton, reliable yacht that offers excellent stability. Her hull is double steel, which is known for even more strength and durability, making her one of the most seaworthy vessels of her class. The interior design of the space features a striking contrast between dark elements such as Macassar ebony, black lacquer, black jet beading, and dark stained oak flooring, and lighter elements such as an off-white deck head, a silvery-white long-piled art silk carpet, and upholstery in shades of taupe and metallic silver. The warmth of the leather wall paneling helps to balance out the coolness of the metallic tones. Almond gold and Perspex are also used as accents throughout, with almond gold plating on the many fittings and dividing strips and Perspex on the Schimmel Grand Piano by the aft deck doors.
