Classically elegant with a host of luxurious amenities, the 147” (44.8m) SURINA makes the perfect base from which to explore the stunning islands of the Caribbean. Built by American shipyard Trident in 2000, SURINA features a great layout and sleek naval architecture penned by Hydro Tec - Sergio Cutolo. Carefully maintained since her launch, SURINA underwent a comprehensive bow-to-stern refit in 2020, which has left her at her pristine best. With incredible interior volumes and space for 10 overnight guests, SURINA is an intelligent choice for an unforgettable Caribbean charter vacation with family or friends.
Bright, beachy interiors
Claudette Bonville has created a chic beach house ambiance throughout SURINA’s light, bright interiors. Large windows allow sunlight to flood the stunning main salon, where whitewashed hardwood floors, pale wood detailing and white wall panels enhance the sense of space. The furnishings are a neutral pale grey with cream and duck egg blue accents. A lovely round dining table with seating for eight features pale grey wicker chairs and an al fresco feel with the aft glass doors left open to the deck beyond. Further forward is a chic bar positioned for the view and a plush lounge area with sofas, armchairs and glass coffee tables. For special occasions, the separate formal dining room is an elegant space forward of the galley. The dining room has spectacular 180-degree views across the bow and is awash with natural light for cheerful celebrations. Specially curated works of original contemporary and modern art are used to striking effect throughout SURINA, adding bright splashes of color and interest.
The upper deck skylounge is no exception. There are stunning abstract sculptures and original paintings, adding a pop of bright yellow. The slick bar is a great place to sit and admire the views, while the lounge area invites conversation and provides the perfect perch for onboard movie nights in front of the widescreen TV.
Spacious staterooms
SURINA welcomes her ten guests on the lower deck in five sumptuous staterooms. The master suite is a beautiful full-beam retreat with a king-size bed, a desk, vanity, seating area and large his-and-hers en-suite bathrooms with a shared central shower and splendid blue and cream marble detailing. There are two more VIP staterooms, each with a queen size bed, impressive widescreen TV, and generous light grey marble en-suite bathroom. Two twin cabins each have side-by-side single beds and private en-suite facilities, making SURINA ideally suited to families with children or friends sharing.
Outdoor living
Decks on SURINA could not be more perfect for enjoying the Caribbean sunshine and island-hopping itineraries. The main aft deck has three distinct dining areas ideal for morning coffee while planning the day’s adventures or for casual dining and afternoon snacks. Side decks lead to the foredeck and bow for sunbathing while soaking in the passing scenery. The upper deck is used for tender storage while underway, but once these are launched, there’s even more space for lounging in the sun and alfresco dining under the shade of the sun deck overhang. Guests can sit at the marble-topped bar and enjoy snacks from the barbecue grill.
The sundeck is SURINA’s hub for socializing and entertaining, with a bar and plenty of space for dining under the stars at the marble-topped cocktail and dining tables. There is also a huge Jacuzzi for relaxing dips day or night and sun pads for drying off or midnight star gazing—all with fabulous 360-degree views.
Cruising experience
SURINA’s ample swimming platform makes it easy to dive into the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and access her impressive arsenal of toys. With three tenders, including a 34’9” Marlin 350 Sportfish Rumba Sportfisher, SURINA is well equipped for exploring the deserted beaches of the Bahamas or the tucked-away treasures of Dominica, as well as providing amazing opportunities for sport fishing and scuba diving. There are WaveRunners for a shot of adrenaline, water skis, wakeboards and towable toys, paddleboards, and a snorkeling kit. A floating pool is ideal for children and provides safe swimming and protection from jellyfish.
Cruising at a respectable 20 knots, SURINA is an excellent choice for island-hopping vacations and making the most of every moment. A dedicated and professional crew of eight provides the special touches and immaculate service that makes a Caribbean charter vacation on SURINA genuinely luxurious.
