Built by Alloy Yachts in 2011, she is a 220-foot (67.2m) sailing schooner designed for world cruising and dedicated to the finest things in life. Her design is by Philippe Briand and her interior is the inspired creation of Christian Liaigre. Special features include a main-deck salon with all-around windows to ensure plenty of natural daylight and spectacular views. The furnishings and décor are modern and sophisticated, making the very most of the yacht’s impressive interior volume.
Eleven friendly crew members welcome up to 12 guests on board. They can set their sights on having the ultimate cruising experience as VERTIGO was designed for extended ocean cruising. She is particularly well suited to families but her elegance also makes her popular for high-class entertaining. Guests sleep in five staterooms. Pale cream furnishings combine with dark wood for sophisticated and welcoming rooms. Again, every care has been taken to ensure she provides luxury, comfort and ample storage space.
VERTIGO is the ideal yacht to weave around islands and sweep along coastlines at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Her impressive profile catches admiring glances wherever she goes and her performance on the water has earned her an esteemed reputation. Her list of attractions includes an on-board gym, a deck Jacuzzi and plenty of deck space for sunbathing, dining and relaxing. She also has a great choice of watersports equipment and water toys to make the most of cruising grounds. These include kayaks, scuba diving gear, skis, sailing dinghies, standup paddleboards and an inflatable pool. There are also mountain bikes for exploring ashore. Two Nautica RIB tenders and a custom-built ‘limo’ tender with removable roof ensure guests are transported in style at all times.
