The 1992 raised pilothouse A PLACE IN THE SUN is a one-of-a-kind Broward that underwent a major refit in 2021, which brought updates like an aft deck stairway and a reconfigured flybridge with not one but two Jacuzzis. This yacht can be considered new due to the extensive $4,000,000 plus refit, which left no stone unturned. Each and every surface of the yacht was improved upon, leaving her in pristine condition. Designed and built with expert craftsmanship, A PLACE IN THE SUN offers functional areas centered around entertainment and beautifully appointed accommodations that contribute to her excellent charter potential.
As guests head inside the aft entry door to the yacht’s main salon, they will be greeted with a modern interior and lots of light from the generous windows and recessed lighting above. The reconfigured main salon features a new bar, banquet-style dining table, dedicated living area with velour couches and new floor-to-ceiling cabinet storage around the stairway. The yacht’s country kitchen galley was converted to a European galley with new equipment. A new main deck master stateroom was created, allowing A PLACE IN THE SUN to accommodate 13 guests in five staterooms.
The yacht’s clever accommodation layout has made use of every available space. It includes two master staterooms, one VIP stateroom, one twin stateroom with a Pullman and one bunked stateroom with four single berths. The main-deck master suite features an elevated queen berth and lots of drawer storage. The second master suite on the lower deck is fitted with a king berth, a dedicated vanity and beautiful Fabrica navy blue carpet. Each of the yacht’s additional cabins features the same elegant styling as both masters and en-suite bathrooms and entertainment systems. A PLACE IN THE SUN offers accommodations for up to five crewmembers on the lower deck.
A PLACE IN THE SUN’s functional and spacious exterior layout was designed and built for alfresco entertainment. Her aft deck is the ideal spot for outdoor dining with a large table surrounded by a bench and dining chair seating. For those seeking more fun in the sun, the yacht’s flybridge is the perfect locale for sinking into the Jacuzzi, unwinding on the sunpads or enjoying a cocktail under the shade while admiring the stunning scenery. When guests seek even more privacy, the foredeck offers a table and seating to enjoy a more private view of the destination ahead. The yacht’s versatile configuration supports private cruising or can accommodate a significant charter business.
