The 66’ (20.20m) Jongert 2200M sailing yacht ARQUIMEDES is a timeless luxury yacht with Dutch charm and quality. The yacht has been meticulously maintained over the years and is one of the best yachts for long-distance ocean sailing. ARQUIMEDES can easily be handled with just two people; her current owners have sailed her around the Mediterranean for the last five years.
The luxury sailing yacht can accommodate up to eight guests in four well-appointed cabins. The beautiful owner’s cabin is located aft with twin beds fixed on each side. The suite features teak accents for a warm, comforting environment and a sense of luxury. The master cabin also features an en-suite bathroom with a spacious rounded shower.
Three nice guest cabins can accommodate the other six guests onboard ARQUIMEDES. Two of the cabins feature two bunk beds located forward, each with en-suite bathrooms, and one guest cabin with bunk beds located aft. The yacht’s aft guest cabin is next to the owner’s cabin and has two doors, one with access from the corridor and another with access directly from the owner’s cabin. This is ideal for families traveling with children. The door that is connected to the owner’s cabin is double paneled for extra privacy when needed. The bathroom in the main salon can be used by those staying in the aft guest cabin.
The sailing yacht’s interior is made of teak, engulfing guests in the ultimate luxury yacht experience. The main salon is expansive with plenty of seating options. The open-concept galley with an oven and two refrigerators allows for seamless movement in and out. ARQUIMEDES’ main salon is adorned with bookshelves for functional storage of the owner’s beloved books. There is also a bar, TV and chart table for guests to utilize.
The cockpit onboard ARQUIMEDES is half-covered with premium visibility of the horizons ahead. The sun awning can be extended to the aft and can be closed entirely during the winter months. The sailing yacht’s tender is carried on a cradle located forward on the deck.
