Baglietto is steeped in Italian boatbuilding heritage. Established in 1854, Baglietto Yachts originally specialized in the construction of small fishing boats and dinghies. However, in 1906, the company expanded its scope by introducing motorboats, including the groundbreaking GIUSEPPINA. At 74’ (22.6m), M/Y GUISEPPINA represented a monumental achievement as the largest combustion engine-powered yacht built in Italy at that time. Baglietto continued to make waves in the industry, establishing itself as a premier yacht builder renowned for its innovative designs.
During both World Wars, Baglietto shifted its focus to the production of military vessels, including anti-submarine boats. Post-World War II, the company redirected its efforts towards luxury yacht construction, initially specializing in wooden vessels before transitioning to aluminum superyachts.
Today, Baglietto remains committed to crafting a fleet of ultra-luxurious superyachts tailored to various yachting lifestyles.
