"CHECKMATE", with her fresh top to bottom paint job and 5 year class survey complete, is the newest example of the very well respected Benetti Vision series currently on the market.  Hull #18 and the second latest launch of the series, CHECKMATE also deserves special recognition as the 100th fiberglass/GRP yacht Benetti has built.  Additionally, she features a number of unique design changes that will forever separate her from her sisterships…notably the addition of much larger square hull ports for incredible views, a custom  spacious sky lounge with more windows, the addition of a day head on the sundeck, and a "contemporary chic", yet traditional custom interior, utilizing beautiful Cherry and Burr Madrona woods and many types of beautiful Italian marble.  The other great features of the series such as the on deck master with 180 degree panoramic views,  four very spacious below deck guest staterooms, an incredible upper deck dining area with slide away doors that create a 270 degree alfresco dining experience, enormous sundeck, and a proven and comfortable long range efficient hull form remain the same.   

Neutral fabrics and furnishings along with cream colored carpets beautifully offset the darker wood of the interior.  The hope was to create a more open, airy and contemporary feel while still maintaining a traditional interior that is easy to work with and timeless in look.  The Zuretti design team along with the owners personal interior designer at Joan Brown Interiors did all this and more.  CHECKMATE has a beautiful open salon that is comfortable and casual, and will certainly never go out of style

“His Bathroom” – Located to starboard, features a marble floor and fully marble lined stall shower which has amazing views out its own window.  A large wash basin, mirror, quiet flush toilet, and generous storage is also found throughout.

“Her Bathroom” – Located aft to port, features a marble floor and marble walled spa tub with water jets and shower fixtures.  Beautiful views may be had from the tub from its own large window.  A large wash basin, mirror, quiet flush toilet, and generous storage is also found throughout. 

An intimate study and TV viewing area located just before the Master Stateroom features a comfortable full length sofa and book shelves outboard and a 50” TV inboard.  A buffet serving area provides the perfect setting for crew to provide discreet private service for morning coffee.

Located mid-ship running fore and aft on the main deck, the Galley and Pantry is beautifully equipped with modern stainless appliances, wood flooring, and beautiful granite counter tops.  The level of custom finish is on par with the rest of the guest areas of the yacht.

The Sky Lounge was custom designed to create a more expansive and open feel than CHECKMATE’S sister ships, the feeling is immediately noticeable upon reaching the top of the stairs, it’s much brighter too.

CHECKMATE is the first Vision to incorporate a fully Integrated Bridge System which combines and interfaces all navigation and communication instruments though common software and hardware making for easy future system expansion or modification.  A forward facing settee with table along the back bulkhead allows for guests to take in the activity of the Bridge and enjoy unobstructed views at the same time.   All navigation equipment, is not specifically noted below, it is all modern and up to date.
