CLAIR DE HUNE 2 is a Solaris Power 48 Open delivered in 2021, with only one dedicated owner since her launch. She is well-suited for cruising along the French Riviera, thanks to several features such as fold-out bulwarks in the cockpit, sunpads at the stern and bow, a Bimini with poles, a hard top and a tender garage with tender. This model, which was designed by Norberto Ferretti, was named “European Power Boat of the Year” in 2020. CLAIR DE HUNE 2 presents an excellent opportunity to own a beautifully maintained Solaris with a focus on performance, comfort and luxury.
One noteworthy feature of CLAIR DE HUNE 2 is her powerful IPS 800 engines with a joystick and Dynamic positioning system, which enables comfortable handling and allows her to reach speeds of up to 36 knots with low vibration. Additionally, the yacht's hull has been designed to reduce fuel consumption, resulting in excellent range and reduced CO2 emissions. At a cruising speed of 26 knots, she requires only 4.8 L of fuel per mile.
The Solaris Power 48 Open is unique in that it has a true walk-around deck, which provides the same amount of cabin space as a conventional cabin cruiser. Her main salon features a cozy L-shaped sofa, a flatscreen TV and natural light from the windows.
CLAIR DE HUNE 2 boasts an owner’s double cabin with an ensuite bathroom and closet at the bow, as well as a lounge area on the lower deck and a single crew cabin. Outside, in the cockpit, is the yacht’s galley, complete with a wet bar, two electric hotplates, a sink and a fridge.
The yacht boasts a flared bow that can be painted with full metallic Awlgrip blue paint as an optional extra. For enhanced enjoyment of the cockpit, there are fold-out bulwarks that can be opened, as well as a wide tender garage located under a sun pad. If desired, the garage can accommodate an Aermarine Cabrio 245 (2.5m) tender. The engine room is spacious, well-ventilated and offers easy access to the engine and other systems.
Moving to the aft deck, there is a large sunpad situated on top of the tender garage, which also contains the optional tender. The cockpit area is shaded by a Bimini with four poles on top of the hard top. There are two sofas and a table in the cockpit, and behind the three pilot seats, there is a furniture unit equipped with hot plates, a sink, and a fridge. Optional fold-out bulwarks are also available to enhance the enjoyment of the cockpit.
The forward deck is accessible from both walkways and features a large sunpad. Meanwhile, the swimming platform, cockpit, and catwalk are all equipped with full teak decking. For easy access to the water, the yacht features an optional hydraulic gangway, which also serves as a swimming ladder with large steps.
