DIXIE underwent a comprehensive interior transformation in 1999/2000, coupled with the installation of state-of-the-art machinery. The Donzi Z65 stands as a testament to robust sport fishing craftsmanship. Modern lines and a thorough machinery upgrade elevate DIXIE into an exceptional sportfishing machine, fully equipped with top-tier fishing gear. DIXIE has recently completed a significant yard period, ensuring peak performance and condition.
The layout and features of DIXIE are designed with the utmost consideration for guest comfort, convenience and functionality. Multiple staterooms, each with en-suite facilities, coupled with dedicated spaces for relaxation, define DIXIE as an excellently designed vessel for both fishing and leisurely cruising.
DIXIE boasts a generously proportioned salon area, featuring a custom L-shaped couch on the starboard side, offering ample storage. This space is ideal for relaxation and socializing, creating a welcoming environment for guests to unwind. Positioned on the port side of the yacht, the galley is fully equipped with a comprehensive range of modern appliances. It includes under-counter refrigeration and a sub-zero wine fridge.
DIXIE offers three staterooms to accommodate six guests. The master stateroom is forward, featuring a queen-sized bed, abundant storage including closets, an en-suite head, and a shower. A custom vanity with a mirror adds a touch of luxury. The VIP stateroom is located on the port side and comprises a double berth and an additional single berth. The double-entry head includes a spacious shower and high-quality designer fixtures. The third stateroom is forward of the engine room, designed for crew or extra guests. It features upper and lower single bunks, electronics, and a private head and shower.
A capacious cockpit, complete with a custom bait tank and fighting chair, combined with a spacious salon for entertainment, solidifies DIXIE as a versatile yacht for both angling and leisure. The spacious teak-decked cockpit of DIXIE offers extensive mezzanine seating, making it an inviting space for guests. The expansive flybridge boasts three meticulously varnished helm chairs and a full array of modern electronics. It also features a custom freezer, built-in BBQ, and a custom ¾ enclosure, along with a large settee and varnished table for comfortable seating. With full bow rails enhancing accessibility, the foredeck hosts a Navtec davit and a newer Novourania tender.
