The 72’ (21.9m) JOURNEY is one of the finest 2016 models of the Ocean Alexander 72s on the market. She is in meticulous condition thanks to a very conscientious owner: her exterior paint is like new and her interiors are in excellent shape. With only 1,622 engine hours and an extended Platinum Plus warranty until January 2026, JOURNEY is ready to cruise this summer.
Stepping aboard JOURNEY via her boarding gates on either side, guests will find a full wet bar on the main deck aft, with a flip-down 32” television and seating for up to eight. Forward on the foredeck is a perfectly positioned, large sunpad.
Entering to the main salon through electric glass doors, the salon is luminous and warm thanks to her large windows and wood detailing. An L-shaped settee and plush captain’s chair offer comfortable seating to relax and socialize along with another television—this time, a pop-up. To port, a private staircase leads to the master suite. Forward is the true gathering place onboard: the galley and helm station. There is ample seating around a good-sized table.
JOURNEY can comfortably accommodate six guests across three cabins. Her master suite is full beam with a king-sized bed. Large, tinted windows provide light and privacy, and a custom cedar-lined closet provides plenty of storage, along with a full-sized bureau with chest of drawers, under-bed storage, and two nightstands. She has an en-suite with granite and marble shower. Her VIP stateroom forward features a custom-sized centerline queen bed. Her second guest room has over-under bunk arrangement, both with en-suite with the smaller doubling as a day head for guests. All are located below deck.
Her flybridge has a second helm with state-of-the-art instrumentation, and two mechanical helm chairs along with a large table and full bar with sink, electric cooktop, refrigerator and three bar stools. A 32” flip-down television with DVD player is available for entertainment. Aft is the davit and recently serviced tender.
JOURNEY benefitted from several recent services and upgrades completed in early 2023, including her 1,000-hour service on both engines, new engine batteries, new carpet and recently sanded teak decking.
