Lucy III was built in 1992 in steel and aluminium by Lürssen shipyards of Bremen Germany and underwent a comprehensive refit in Nobiskrug, Germany in 2002.
Lucy III has a timeless Gilgenast Exterior design whith interiors designed by Danielo Silvestrin creating a tasteful and stately ambience.
She presents substantial volume of 488 Gross Tonnes for a 46 meter displacement yacht and is set over 3 decks with an impressive 9.6 meter beam providing substantial interior and exterior space.
Lucy III can accommodate up to 10 guests in her five cabin suites. The master suite is situated towards the aft of the owner's deck; it includes a study area, a walk-in dressing room, a beautifully appointed ensuite bathroom and direct access onto the owner's deck. There are four other sumptuous guest suites, including two king-size and two doubles, all of which boast large ensuite bathrooms and storage areas. Of particular interest is the large salon with dining area, leading forward into a grand study and library containing a unique skylight and panoramic windows curving 180º.
Designed with outdoor living in mind, her exterior spaces include a dedicated sundeck with a large seating area complete with hardtop sunshade, sun loungers and a Jacuzzi. There is also a hydraulic swim platform aft for easy access to the water for swimmers and guests using water toys, while there is also storage space on the aft deck for carrying two large tenders.
Lucy III is powered by twin low emission certified (in compliance with Marpol IV) Caterpillar 3508 B engines, providing economical fuel consumption (156 litres per hour at 11.6 knots). She has a 7000 nautical mile range and a fuel capacity of 104,000 litres. All of the navigation and GMDSS communication systems are current and she is fitted with Vosper stabilizers and is Bureau Veritas Class Maintained.
