Launched by renowned ship builder Burger yachts in 2005, 116’ (35.58) luxury motor yacht PATRIOT is the classically styled quintessence of her designer’s pedigree and heritage. In dedication to the maintenance of her utmost premium quality, PATRIOT has received continuous, meticulous refits throughout the years – her latest in 2021. Pioneering the conjunction of safety, comfort and luxury at sea, this aluminum yacht is in Bristol condition, running on twin C32 Caterpillar 1652hp engines to reach a cruising speed of 16 knots and maximum of 19 knots with Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers.
Upon first climbing up the steps to her opulent deck, it becomes immediately apparent that Burger’s architects were committed to creating a bespoke experience, memorable for a lifetime. Her eye-catching, teak planked aft deck serves as a gorgeous entry way to the rest of the yacht, offering a built-in cushioned bench seat, high gloss mounted teak table and a wet bar with a refrigerator. Through the main entryway and walkaround doors, guests will experience an overwhelming sense of grandeur, from her large, woodwork framed windows to the intricately carved crown moldings and valances.
Designed by Don O’Keefe, PATRIOT’s interior intelligently juxtaposes natural lighting and privacy, with gorgeous views extending around the circumference of her structure accompanied by remote control blinds for both transparent and blackout screening. This Mediterranean styled salon provides a large, rose-colored sofa perfect for guest entertainment and socializing., complemented by arched accents, beamed and coffered ceilings. This area is divided beautifully by a Makoré storage credenza, creating a sense of privacy within her formal dining area. Along the forward bulkhead, she features a built-in Quartz topped bar area with an under-mounted sink and raised panel cabinet storage for bar glasses and stemware.
She also spotlights a raised pilothouse, several steps from the main deck level. This capacious lounge provides excellent views of the water with exquisite Makoré woodwork paneling. Aft to port, this relaxing space provides a leather, upholstered L-shaped settee and Stidd helm chair. Here, guests may accompany captain and crew, witnessing the technology behind a true on-water experience with black box navigation, a myriad of systems and even a night vision camera.
The main-deck galley is located just forward of the pilothouse, featuring Quartz topped counters, top line appliances and a gorgeous Quartz topped island for informal meals. For shared snacks in a more intimate setting, this space also offers a U-shaped plush settee with a warm, “country kitchen” ambience.
For guest accommodations, PATRIOT offers four sumptuous staterooms, starting with the immaculate master cabin. Accessed from the main salon, this gorgeous stateroom holds his-and-her cedar closets, built-in bureaus and bookshelves, and marble-floored his-and-hers en-suite heads. The additional three guest staterooms are accessed through the Makoré paneled hallway, spotlighting their own en-suite heads, cedar closets and individual temperature controls.
Her exterior equally embodies suave décor, with walkaround side-decks providing easy access to each desirable aspects of PATRIOT’s majesty. Through a sliding waterproof door and up five steps from the pilothouse, the upper deck is divided into multiple segments – the flybridge, lounge, bar, cushioned sundeck and small boat areas – each with their own personal touch. Guests have the choice of enjoying the sun or lounging in the shade with plush sunpads, companion bench seats with storage underneath and removable sunscreen awning covers. For refreshments, there is a full-service bar with four pedestal mounted bar stools and a dining area with a large, U-shaped settee.
To ensure PATRIOT’s delivery on exciting on-water adventures, her boat deck holds a 18’ Novurania RIB, 3-person Yamaha WaveRunner and hydraulic cranes enabling launch to either side of the yacht.
