SECOND WAVE is an example of Lagoon’s expert craftsmanship as the prime mover in the catamaran sector. They understand the structure, engineering, rig dynamics and the various stresses of a multihull, and provide solutions. Access to engines, generators and all other equipment will be a delight for someone converting from a monohull. SECOND WAVE is the newest and nicest Lagoon 620 available, and benefits from nearly every available option. She has never been chartered and is being offered by her original owner. SECOND WAVE’s machinery hours are minimal, leaving her in impeccable condition.

The Lagoon 620 is unique in many ways. The common spaces are similar to what one might find on a 100+ foot motor yacht. Guest and owner’s berths are all arranged as walkarounds, unlike so many catamarans that stuff the berths in tapered corners. Each of the three guest staterooms has a private head and shower. The spacious layout of SECOND WAVE ensures guests have plenty of privacy while onboard. The main salon features 360-degree views while seated. There is an attractive dining option in the main salon with alfresco choices on the flybridge and aft deck. The furniture is modern and comfortable providing an excellent space for guests to unwind.

SECOND WAVE is the galley-down version of the Lagoon 620 with four cabins. She welcomes eight guests in two queen cabins with stunning private heads, a bunk room and a gracious owner’s suite. A small V-berth cabin is forward to port, which can welcome another guest or crew. The owner’s suite aft to starboard offers private access to the water and aft deck. The headroom is generous and the space is light, bright and inviting. The furniture is modern and the influx of natural light and neutral colors add a fresh, bright aesthetic.

The Lagoon 620 profile is striking, modern and clean. SECOND WAVE overcomes many of the liabilities of smaller catamarans: the nacelle between the hulls has adequate clearance to avoid pounding. The hydraulic lift and tender fits very comfortably between the hulls keeping swim steps open for water sports. Her foredeck and flybridge are spacious enough to entertain a crowd. SECOND WAVE’s proportions and ergonomics are perfect. The stairs are wide and safe, and the handrails are suitably located. Her side decks are more like sidewalks with plenty of room to move about.

Comfortable social spaces onboard SECOND WAVE include the flybridge, the aft deck and the foredeck. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed on the aft deck or the flybridge, both surrounded by beautiful views. The L-shaped settee in the main salon can seat all guests for a more formal dinner. The hydraulic platform, which converts to a beach club, is a major plus. To starboard, owners can take a private evening swim and step directly into their shower. SECOND WAVE simply lives well for those who desire to be out on the water.
