Discover adventure with the Nordhavn 55 TIPASA, a vessel that redefines the world of yachting. Meticulously crafted with unparalleled engineering and attention to detail, the Nordhavn 55 seamlessly combines elegance and power to provide a comfortable cruising experience.

One of the hallmarks of a Nordhavn yacht is its unwavering dedication to quality and seaworthiness. Designed by world-class naval architects and built by skilled craftsmen, TIPASA boasts a rugged, ocean-crossing hull that effortlessly navigates through any conditions. Whether you're exploring coastal waters or venturing into the open ocean, this yacht instills confidence, making it the perfect companion for intrepid voyagers.

TIPASA's clever design incorporates companionways and access doors between the interior and decks, ensuring smooth movement for the crew during docking maneuvers. With ample space to accommodate up to nine passengers and crew for extended periods, each individual on board enjoys their own private retreat. The smart flow between the salon, staterooms, wheelhouse and decks creates a spacious and uncluttered ambiance, enhancing the overall comfort.

Beyond their luxurious amenities, what sets Nordhavn yachts apart is their exceptional fuel efficiency and long-range capabilities. TIPASA's advanced engineering enables it to cover vast distances effortlessly, making her the ultimate choice for adventurous explorers seeking uncharted territories. TIPASA has undergone various service works and upgrades in 2022, including replacements and overhauls of crucial components, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.

Designed with comfort in mind, TIPASA's main salon seamlessly connects to the aft cockpit on the same level, effectively extending the living area and creating a harmonious indoor-outdoor experience. The asymmetrical cabin design offers a wider main salon and galley, with a wide side deck on the starboard side for added convenience.

The owner's stateroom is strategically positioned midships, minimizing pitching motion. It boasts a queen-sized, walkaround berth, ample hanging lockers, and a spacious head with a shower/bathtub combination. The forward guest cabin, located in the bow, provides a comfortable double berth, an en-suite head and shower, and a convenient writing desk with a chair. Beneath the forward cabin lies a utility room with easy access to essential components such as the bow thruster, pumps, and a well-equipped workbench with ample storage for spare parts and tools.

The commercial-like pilothouse, situated midships for minimal motion, offers 360-degree visibility for the helmsperson. It features an elevated L-shaped settee and table for visibility. TIPASA features a private Captain's stateroom, accessible from the wheelhouse, which can be used as an additional guest cabin when needed. TIPASA features a flybridge with controls, conveniently located directly over the pilothouse, providing the perfect vantage point for navigating the boat in fair weather.

General Accommodation And Life At Sea

TIPASA is cleverly designed with companionways and access doors between the interior and the decks. A sheltered side deck to starboard allows the crew to move freely from the helm to the cockpit for docking manoeuvres without entering the saloon. Up to nine passengers and crew can live together for long periods of time.

But rather than space, spaces are even more important. On a Nordhavn 55, each and every crew member will find privacy. With a smart flow between the saloon, the staterooms, the wheelhouse and the decks, the crew will never have the feeling that the boat is crowded. All of the popular factory options have been selected and several major improvements have eased the daily life and operations.

Special Layout On Tipasa

Whilst many of the most popular options were selected during construction, these special layout options were chosen for safety and comfort:

Boat Deck Arrangement - Rather than using the boats upper deck as a storage space, this area was converted into a dining settee for six persons with folding teak armchairs. This gives a valuable social space on board. This area is protected by a strong stainless steel frame with canvas cover to provide shade whilst also allowing for a 1000W solar panel array to be mounted above.

Partition Bulkhead - In the saloon, a partition bulkhead was created and installed in order to separate the saloon from the galley. On the saloon side, the partition features bookshelves, creating a cozy yacht library, whilst on the galley side of the partition this valuable space is used to hang kitchenware and allows for a more usable layout for the galley. This arrangement with a separate galley has proven to be very convenient when at sea, especially when a stewardess or chef may be part of the crew.

This partition may be removed at nominal cost by a local carpenter if required. Concept designs and quotations are available.
